It's a truth universally acknowledged that music in the sunshine sounds just that little bit better than music under the clouds.
And so was the story in Sunday's Virgin Atlantic clubhouse, within the Virgin Media V Festival Louder Lounge.
Festival malaise might have hit, but the passengers of the Virgin Atlantic clubhouse had embarked, ready for a journey of fun, music and a taste of our Upper Class experience.
So how did Sunday pan out?
Today we welcomed Vanessa from The Saturdays and her friends to the clubhouse, along with supermodel Jourdan Dunn, the beautiful Gizzi Erskine, pop starlets Alexandra Burke and Pixie Lott, BBC Radio 1 Xtra DJ Sarah Jane Crawford and Olympian Ashley McKenzie, amongst many others.
As the sun shone down, the passengers of the clubhouse gathered in the hot tubs, with double bubbles on tap – courtesy of Lanson and the amazing Splash and Tickle.
Having delivered an Upper Class service all day in the Louder Lounge, our Virgin Atlantic cabin crew took their dedication one step further by hitting the dance floor and ensuring the party really started.
Our tweets for treats went down a storm as we dished out Dr Hauschka beauty goodies, and even more amazingly, pairs of flights for our brand spanking new domestic Little Red service .
There's something ever so special about offering a Virgin Atlantic service to guests on ground level, just like they'd receive at 35,000 feet – or more!
It's been an incredible weekend at V Festival, and we loved every minute at the Virgin Media Louder Lounge. Thank you to everyone involved for making it such a huge success!
