With its winning combination of hip cosmopolitan hangouts, gourmet restaurants and epic natural landscapes, it’s not hard to fathom why Vancouver keeps us coming back for more. Embrace your inner explorer and take to the wilds or set about discovering a long list of sleek urban hotspots with our top five Vancouver videos.

“Respect Mother Nature” by Jon Rawlinson

Vancouver boasts some pretty awe-inspiring natural scenery and this film by Jon Rawlinson shows some of the city’s most impressive spots in all their glory. The nature junkies among us are definitely in for a treat.

“45 Minutes” by Brad McGiveron

With scenery like the Coast Mountain Range right on Vancouver’s doorstep, it’s easy to see why the city attracts so many intrepid explorers. Just 45 minutes out of town, this video gives us a glimpse of just what’s on offer.

“Vancouver - Testing the Canon 7D” by Brandon Moza

Brandon Moza’s short film focuses on some of the everyday city scenes you might encounter in Vancouver. Laidback and atmospheric, we think this film gives a great feel for life in the city.

“Vancouver + Multiframes” by Bernhard Schinn

We love this multi-frame film by Bernhard Schinn and its stylish selection of Vancouver imagery. Shot from the side of a railway, on board a boat and on foot in the city centre, this video makes for a fantastic virtual tour.

“Summer in Vancouver City” by Van Dans

Upbeat and atmospheric we love “Summer in Vancouver City” by Van Dans. Follow the camera through Vancouver, take in the sights and get up close and personal with a grizzly bear.

Virgin Atlantic operate seasonal flights to Vancouver from London Heathrow, with our summer service starting on 14th May 2013.
