Home of the world-renowned Blue Monster course, Trump National Doral Miami was bought out by Donald Trump in 2012, raising even higher expectations of what golfers can expect upon the re-opening of courses at the end of 2013. Aside from Blue Monster, the resort has four additional championship courses to choose from, all of which have hosted golf pros such as Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson. Need some help to get to that level? In addition to premier courses, Trump National is also home to of one of the most notable golf schools in America.

Located in the highly sought-after area of Aventura, Turnberry Isle is home to two 18-hole championship courses: Soffer and Miller. Noted by Golfweek’s ‘Best Courses to Play’ in 2011, Robert Trent Jones, Sr. cleverly designed the 7,047 yards of rolling fairway to embrace natural water hazards, but that didn’t stop him from aligning carefully placed bunkers, doglegs and lush greens tactful enough to entice the pros. In addition to its Grade A grounds, including dining and recreational opportunities, the facility also offers daily clinics open to the public year round.

Carefully positioned on a residential island within Biscayne Bay, Normandy Shores is a low-key game changer. However, don’t let its short fairway lengths fool you; you’ll encounter well placed bunker and water hazards at 12 of the 18 holes throughout the course, making Normandy Shores Golf Club a true test of any golfer’s skillset. The isle has a knack for providing its guests with gentle breezes throughout the day, making it a desirable outdoor experience even in winter.
