Want to travel to one of the world’s most breathtaking and beautiful countries? Well, it just became a whole lot easier. Virgin Atlantic is very proud to announce a code-sharing agreement with Air New Zealand.
As of the 28th February, travellers will be given a much wider choice of how to get to the islands. So, if you want to see Auckland’s Waitakere Ranges, or even relax on a Rarotongan beach in the Cook Islands, you can book your connecting journeys directly through us.
Air New Zealand and Virgin Atlantic have a history of working together to provide excellent service, and Flying Club members will continue to earn miles from any flights they take with Air New Zealand. Our pampered Upper Class passengers will feel at home in Air New Zealand’s Business Premier cabin, and all our travellers can expect the fantastic service they are used to from the award-winning ANZ.
The code-share is another exciting step in our ongoing co-operation, and will make nine Air New Zealand routes available for Virgin Atlantic passengers:
- Los Angeles – Rarotonga
- San Francisco – Auckland
- Sydney – Auckland
- Sydney – Christchurch
- Sydney – Wellington
- Auckland – Christchurch
- Auckland – Wellington
- Auckland – Queenstown
- Auckland – Rarotonga
This is the perfect chance to try out somewhere new, and visit some of the most diverse landscapes in the world. Let us know how you get on in the paradise of the Pacific.
UPDATE: The Air New Zealand code share launch date has moved to 7th March 2011.
