Here at Virgin Atlantic we've taken new steps to make life for Santa Claus a little bit easier this year - despite tight airport security.
For the first time ever, we're offering passengers the chance to wrap last minute gifts for their loved ones after they pass through security - but before boarding the plane.
Specially Trained Virgin Elves
Airports prefer that all presents carried by passengers remain unwrapped for security reasons, so our gift-wrapping service will solve the nerve-wracking dilemma for parents travelling at Christmas, knowing that presents for children which are supposed to be kept secret until Christmas Day are lying unwrapped nearby.
This one-off service will be available prior to boarding at the gate area by specially trained Virgin Elves who will wrap up the gift with decorative ribbons and a large bow and gift tag. A donation of £1 for this service will go to Virgin Atlantic’s named charity Free The Children.
This is a first for Virgin Atlantic. We expect to see over 50,000 passengers travelling with us over the 21st, 22nd and 23rd December, and being able to offer this present wrapping service is the perfect finishing touch for those who have gifts to take to loved ones in far-away places.
