As Edinburgh came alive with comic talent last month, we took the opportunity to support the city and the incredible Edinburgh Festival Fringe by bringing a touch of laughter to the skies and offering our passengers a chance to be in the audience in the Fringe's most unusual venue – one of our Little Red planes.
As we transported festival-goers and visitors alike on board our domestic short haul service, flyers were treated to a 10 minute warm-up taster set from comedian-of-the-moment Simon Brodkin performing as his alter ego Lee Nelson.
The live gig was designed to get those attending the Fringe in the mood for their upcoming festival experience, as well as providing a short dose of comedy to those unable to witness the Fringe first hand. As an avid supporter of the festival, we also brought a touch of Little Red to the Fringe itself, with sponsorship of Venue150 @ EICC – one of the largest venues at the festival, hosting some of the event's biggest names.
