To celebrate the opening of the contemporary, boutique-inspired Andaz Shanghai, lucky Virgin Atlantic Flying Club members heading to Shanghai can now earn double miles when booking at any Hyatt hotel in the city until the end of this year. This includes the brand new Andaz, the Hyatt on the Bund, Grand Hyatt Shanghai and Park Hyatt Shanghai.
The first Andaz in Asia is located in Xintiandi, the entertainment and business district in the heart of downtown Shanghai, renowned for its stylish bars and boutiques. The relaxed and friendly 28-storey hotel has 307 spacious bedrooms and suites, all of which have far-reaching views across the Shanghai skyline and colour-customisable LED lighting for guests to adjust to suit their mood. What's more, non-alcoholic minibar drinks and snacks, local calls and wireless internet are completely free -- as they are in all Andaz hotels.
With a range of in-house dining options including signature French-Shanghainese brasserie Hai Pai, and the 2,200 square metre Optime Spa soon to open, there'll barely be any reason to step outside -- but make sure you do, because Huai Hai Zhong Road, one of Shanghai's best shopping areas is just a short walk from the hotel. This elegant boulevard is well known for its swanky parade of high-end international designer brands, as well as more affordable shops and the famous Pacific Department Store.
Remember that you only have the rest of this year (until 29th December 2011) to earn these celebratory miles, so visit the special Hyatt/Flying Club promotion page and get booking whilst you can. And if you're not already a member of our Flying Club, here's all you need to know.
Terms and conditions:
1. Earn double miles on all eligible stays between 1 October – 29 December 2011.
2. Offer valid at Andaz Shanghai, Hyatt on the Bund, Grand Hyatt Shanghai and Park Hyatt Shanghai.
3. Simply quote VS346 at time of reservation and check-in to enjoy more miles in Shanghai!
